Create a Buzz For Your Book Online Using Friendster.com

Friendster.com was the original social networking site. In recent years, Myspace.com and Facebook.com have surpassed Friendster in total number of users, but Friendster still maintains hundreds of thousands of members, and thus, potential readers.

Friendster is one of the best places to engage in the marketing of your book because it has search capabilities that allow us to seek out those who may be interested in your book--all based upon their interest in similar types of books (yes, we can narrow the field that much!).

On Friendster we post excerpts from our authors´ books and have links to the actual page on our authors´ sites where Friendster users may order books.

Marketing your book on Friendster works two ways:

  1. We contact targeted Friendster members who, based on their profiles, are already interested in the topics and themes of your book. We introduce you and engage them in dialogue about your book and their interests in similar subjects.
  2. Because of the clean, inviting profile we build for you, thousands of Friendster users searching for people who have the same interests as they do, etc. may find your page and contact you. Passive marketing works very well on Friendster.

Most active Friendster users are 25 and older, so we only market books on Friendster that we believe will be well-received by that demographic.
