Visibility on Amazon.com is crucial for your book’s success, but just having a listing
on the website doesn’t necessarily mean anyone will see it. Our Amazon Exposure
Program is a strategic three-part series of tested methods to improve the visibility
of your book on Amazon.
First, we create an Amazon author profile which establishes your credibility within
the Amazon community, allowing Amazon customers quick and easy access to information
about you and your book. Visitors to your author profile page can read your blog,
watch a book trailer, check out photos, read your bio and much more all within Amazon.com.
Plus, when you log into your Amazon author account you’ll be privy to detailed sales
information about your book.
Next, we add 30 applicable tags to your book’s Amazon listing. When your book gets
tagged with a relevant keyword, you are grouped with other books/products associated
with that same tag. Strategic tagging leads to keyword driven customer communities
that serve as a “one-click” way to discover new authors, artists and companies in
that category.

Amazon is full of genre and topic specific communities and a book tagged with the
right keywords will reach its target communities much faster than one without. For
example, our title Grieving a Soulmate was tagged with topic appropriate keywords,
like “coping with grief,” “bereavement,” and “death of a spouse.” Because of those
keywords, Grieving a Soulmate is visible on topic-specific community pages. People
looking for books about coping with the loss of a loved one have a much higher chance
of seeing and purchasing our title as a result of the Amazon Exposure Program.
Keyword tagging also increases the probability that your book will show up in keyword
searches within Amazon and even in websites and newsfeeds outside of Amazon. Grieving
a Soulmate was mentioned in a tweet by the American Cancer Center shortly after
our keyword tagging was complete. This tweet was visible to all of the American
Cancer Center’s followers within the Twitter community.

Finally, we create three Listmania! lists for your book. Listmania! lists are comprised
of your book, then 3-5 other comparable, bestselling titles. These lists can be
viewed both on your Amazon listing and in the listings of the comparable titles,
giving everyone checking out those titles a quick and easy way to find your book.
We use targeted list names like “Best Coming of Age Novels for Boys” and “5 Best
Books on French Cooking,” to attract the most relevant readers to your book.
