Trim Sizes and pricing for Print-on-Demand Books
Since we use a printer with the latest, most advanced digital printing technology
(often referred to as Short Run Digital Printing (SRDP) or Print-On-Demand (POD)),
we are able to offer a wide variety of trim sizes and bindings. Black and white
books can employ trims ranging from 3" x 4" to 9 1/4" x 12", and page counts from
14-1016. Color books have the same trims available, and offer page counts from 8-250.
We are also pleased to be able to offer a variety of paper types to suit your needs.
The trim sizes, page range, paper type and cover finishes listed in the charts below
are the only options available to authors who purchase our Basic and Advanced Publishing
Packages.
Authors in our Expanded Distribution Program (the ”Program”) may choose any of the
options below or can have books printed in any trim size, with virtually any type
of cover, and more varieties of paper (additional printing costs will apply). These
authors may choose SRDP, POD or offset printing. Quantities can range from 10 to
10,000 books.
Common trim sizes for standard trade fiction and non-fiction books include (but
are not limited to): 5" x 8", 5.5" x 8.5", and 6" x 9".
Please refer to the tables below for a list of our standard POD offerings available
to our authors. Note that the options listed are the ONLY trims available to authors
who are not participating in our Expanded Distribution Program.

For orders that an author places for personal use, the POD printer offers volume
discounts. These discounts apply to the number of units ordered for a single book
