Book printing timelines depend on what kind of printer you choose (digital or offset), so to figure out which timeline to look at, you’ll have to answer a couple questions.

1. Will you print your books ahead of time and store them in a warehouse or will your book be printed when someone orders it?

If your answer is, my book will be printed when someone orders it, proceed to the print-on-demand printing timeline!

If your answer is, I’ll have my book printed ahead of time and stored in a warehouse, answer the following question.

2. How many copies will you print?

If your answer is, more than 500, proceed to the offset printing timeline!

If your answer is, fewer than 500, proceed to the digital printing timeline!

If your answer is, I have no idea, read our article on how many copies you should print.
